The Group's history of importing goods stretches back to the early 1960's and the Group is an acknowledged pioneer in promoting international trade activities in the country. Imports of a wide range of goods from China dominated the first decade. However, the last three decades have seen the focus turn global.

As in all other ventures, the Group has, through a successfully exhibited long-term vision and dynamism, stayed ahead of competition. Over the last 40 years, Sarda Group has formed strong relationships with several overseas associates, which are a key factor behind the Group's growth and success.

Sarda Group's international trade activities can be segregated into Four areas:
• IndustrialTrading : Rubber Compunds, Binding Wires, Roogfing Nails, Welding Electrodes, Wire Nettings, Tools
• FMCG Distribution: CFL Lamps, Solar Panels, Tube Lights, Bulbs, CFLs, Fans and Decorative Lights.
• Agro Trading: Sugar, Pulses, Spices 4. The companies are also involved in EXPORT of Pulses, Food grains, Wheat, Masoor Dal, Ginger and various other food commodities from Nepal.
